If the baby is breech side to side and is trying to turn are you suppose to have so much pain?

I could feel the baby hitting my organs, my back and my kidneys. It hurts like hell. Will she even be successful turning? She seems to be moving a lot more today than in the past week. I think she is diagonal Where head is right above the left leg and her is under my right . But god does it have to be this painful?
