Got denied on secure credit card due to insufficient funds?

If you already have a credit card, why are you getting a secured card? Seems like a waste to put up a deposit for the secured card. But it sounds like you bounced a check or your debit transaction was declined. Since Wells Fargo took funds out of your account in error, that could be the reason for BOA's "insufficient funds".
