How long does it take for BC to become ineffective?

Usually if you miss one pill it becomes uneffective and then has to restart. Taking two pills a day will not change anything. You have to be consistant. Every day, same hour. And if you forget and get lazy, try the shot. It worked for me. Once every 3 months, I can remember that.
