What type of scene hair should a 13 year old get?

Im 13 now and I really have been wanting scene hair but my mom said I have to wait till im 13+. I just turned 13 and am going to get scene hair but I want to know what type of scene hair would suit a 13 year old. Also do you think coon tails would be appropriate for my age? Hot pink? I also have a reddish brown hair color and im caucasian.
