Does the away goal rule still apply when the teams go into extra time?
I wasn't sure but when I think about it doesn't seem fair. For example Chelsea beat Juventus 1-0 at home, and say the game today will end 1-0 for Juventus, and in extra time Chelsea score. So if Juventus score another goal, it'll be 2-2 on aggregate but will Chelsea advance because they scored that extra time goal? It doesn't seem fair to the home team, because Juve only played 90 minutes at Chelsea but Chelsea play 120 minutes at Juve. Get what I mean? It just seems to me that once you get to extra time, the away goal rule should not apply and they should go to PK's. Inter-ManU could be another example if the game ends 0-0 after 90 minutes tomorrow but both teams score in extra time...
