How bad do tattoos on the top of your foot hurt?

me & my mom are getting a mother/daughter tattoo on the top of our foot for christmas and just wondering how bad its gunna hurt ahead of time! ( i know its gunna hurt just wanna know how bad) so dont be a smart alec about it!
