Do you think this is right for my friends mom to say?

Ok, so I invited my best friend to a waterpark on friday because we didn't have school that day. So I called about a week early to ask if she could come and she said yes. So the night before we were supposed to go my mom called my friends mom to make sure she knew what time I was coming. Apparently, Cara (my friend) was supposed to call and say she couldn't go, but i never got the message. She was at her dads, so her mom said it was ok to call and ask. I called and he said ok and he asked my mom where Cara's mom was, and my mom thought she was at her sisters house, and it started a fight between Cara's parents and my mom was in the middle of it. My dad took us, and her parents were mad because the didn't know him. (wich isn't true because my dad has took Cara and I lots of places before). So she calls my mom and tells her "Can you not let Ashlynn (me) take Cara anywhere like this again because it causes too much trouble" That REALLY pissed me off. I mean, Its not my fault if my friends parents are in a fight. Im really pissed now because we have been friends since we were 6 and she's pretty much my only friend who likes amusment/water parks like me. I don't think its fair that she told my mom not to let me invite her places.
