What do the protestant denominations think of the Catholic Stance on Environmental Responsibility?

Well, the problem that comes up is that not all Protestant groups have a leader to set positions. For instance, the Baptists are very much congregationalists and hold that the individual church is the authority, not a council or head group. Personally I see that scripture is clear in that the bounty of the Earth is to be used but in a manner reflecting a good steward mentality.
